Hollow Metal Welder
J&K Security Solutions is looking for a skilled Welder to join our Metal Frame Production team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for fabricating and assembling hollow metal door frames using MIG welding and a variety of hand and power tools. If you’re reliable, safety-focused, and take pride in precision work, we want to hear from you!
Job Details:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
- On-site (Madison, WI)
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00AM – 3:30PM
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weld, fit, and assemble light-gauge sheet metal frames based on shop drawings and work orders
- Grind and prep welds to meet quality and finish standards
- Use MIG welding equipment, plasma cutters, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools
- Move materials using forklifts and carts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmen
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiative
You Will Need:
- Experience in MIG welding (GMAW) and metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and production instructions
- Comfortable with hand tools, Power tools, Cutters, Grinders and material handling
- Proper government status to work in the United States
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (we’ll train)
- Willingness to Drive Delivery Box truck (Class D standard Driver license required)
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dependable attendance
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the day
- Must be able to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working with tools and equipment on your feet all day

Low Voltage/Smart Home Technician – Level 1
We are seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented individual for our Low Voltage Smart Home Installation Technician (Level 1) position. This is an entry level position within our company specializing in the installation of low voltage systems. Someone with the Tech Level 1 role will generally work under the supervision of someone with the Tech Level 2 position or higher. The ideal candidate is someone who has a basic knowledge of hand/power tools and has a general understanding of how these systems function from a hardware and software standpoint (or is hungry to learn).
Job Details:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
- On-site (Madison, WI)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation of low voltage systems including but not limited to – distributed audio, video, security systems, surveillance, networking, access control, fire alarm, two-way communication, area of rescue, and bi-directional amplification
- Set up of device software, ensuring proper networking & communication between appropriate devices in the installed system
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior experience a plus, however, not required
- We are looking for someone with a “can do” attitude with the desire to learn the industry and advance their career
- Reliable and timely attendance
- Perform the physical installation of system in new construction, remodel, and retrofit job sites in both residential and commercial applications
- Able to lift upwards of 75 lbs. repeatedly, with or without accommodation
- Ability to perform physical labor that includes but is not limited to – going up and down ladders, going up and down stairs, working overhead, bending and twisting one’s body
- Adhere to all J&K Company Policies, OSHA guidelines, and site-specific guidelines as directed
- US citizen or foreign visitor with proper identification, current immigrant visa or other documentation
- Valid and current driver’s license with no outstanding suspensions, warrants or pending litigation
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the day
